Sacred Rest
I have designed this class to be a pause each Sunday afternoon. A practice that invites you to journey inward through stillness and intention.
Rooted in the three ‘tattvas’ of yin yoga: stillness, edge and time; this practice creates space for deep release, nervous system reset and energetic alignment. With a focus on fascia and the subtle body, each posture is held with support from props, allowing tension to soften and layers of stored emotion to unwind.
I use story, myth and archetype when teaching, drawing from sacred texts, fairytales and timeless wisdom each week. The practice is grounded in the chakras and the elemental energies of earth, water, fire and air.
Expect incense, candles and a carefully curated playlist to guide your journey.
Each class ends with a guided visualisation or journey, supporting integration and rest - coming home to your inner child’s imagination.
This is a space to listen to your body and work with your breath. Here, transformation arises not through effort and thought, but through stillness and deep listening.
A 90 minute Yin Yoga class with me on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday each month.
5.00pm - 6.30pm
